The Midsummer Night Ball
Enlivened by the effervescence of spring and the pleasures of music, The Midsummer Night’s Ball of the Orchestre symphonique de Montréal is one of the most important cultural events on the Montreal scene and welcomes every year more than 600 distinguished guests.
The scope and excellence of our Orchestra’s programs, which make it one of the great orchestras on the Canadian and international musical scene, are only made possible through the ongoing enthusiastic support of the public – and especially through your generous financial contributions.
The up comming Midsummer Night’s Ball will be taking place on May 26, 2010.

The last Ball, during the 2008-2009 season: May 27, 2009, at Windsor Station
The event, whose honorary presidents were Messrs. Stéphane Boisvert, President, Bell Canada’s Enterprise business, and Stephen Rosenhek, CA, Managing Partner, RSM Richter Chamberland, was a grand success and a delight for the 600 people in attendance. Guests got to waltz to the sounds of the Orchestra conducted by Maestro Kent Nagano, in the company of professional dancers from the Arthur Murray dance school.
