• welcome soloists and conductors of international reputation.

Your support as an OSM donor is essential to our development. Indeed, it makes it possible for us to not only present a number of concert events but also to carry out projects that strengthen our bond with the Montreal community.

Thanks to your backing we can continue to offer quality educational programs to the younger generation, a policy that Wilfrid Pelletier sought to put in place at the very inception of the Orchestra. It also enables us to carry on with our mission of supporting our country’s emerging generation of artists by way of the OSM Standard Life Competition, which remains an essential step on the path of all aspiring Canadian musicians. Your support also makes it possible for us to offer a number of free concerts, and in so doing to reach an increasingly broad audience.

This season once again there are significant financial challenges to be met, and the success of your Orchestra’s fundraising campaigns is vital if the OSM is to continue to shine on the international scene as well as at the very heart of our city.
